Oil pulling's soothing properties and natural antimicrobial benefits are known to reduce harmful bacteria in the mouth; it reduces plaque build up whilst also removing stains to whiten teeth naturally.

Our natural blends of virgin coconut oil and organic essential oils are a great alternative to conventional mouthwash. This blend of coconut oil and peppermint essential oil holds extremely effective anti-anaerobic properties, attacking bacteria that thrive in a low oxygen environment such as the mouth, and can lead to gum disease. For this reason peppermint is one of our favourite oils for use in oral care.

Take 1-2 teaspoons of oil, swish it around the mouth for 5 up to 20 minutes before spitting out. The longer you hold the oil in your mouth the greater the effect.

For the best results swish until the oil has turned a milky white, indicating that the bacteria has been “pulled” off.

Most of us accept that good oral hygiene involves cleaning our teeth daily. But what we don’t always consider is the effect of ingesting the synthetic chemicals found in commercial products. We had one question…are all these chemicals really necessary? Research soon highlighted to us that nature already offers us everything we need to look after our oral health. Which is how Georganics was born. Our handmade formulas are designed to support and sustain oral health in the most natural way possible. We are as meticulous about the quality of the ingredients we use as we are concerned about all the problems linked to commonly used synthetics ingredients.
