Loving Healthy Smoothies!

Smoothies are a healthy and delicious way to add extra goodness into your day. I know I lead such a busy life and getting the recommended 5-8 portions of fruit and veg a day sometimes just feels impossible. So adding a smoothie packed with lots of fruit and veg at some point in the day, I feel less guilty if I get to the end of the day and not managed to prepare all those fruit and veg portions! I also try to add a heaped teaspoon of Organic Hemp Powder for protein, especially after exercise.
I also try and encourage the children to make their own smoothies and find they have started adding more variables as the years have gone on, realising spinach doesn’t taste bad when added to a banana smoothie. When buying your ingredients where possible by Organic.
